"The Flowerkeeper" Screening at the Farm

$25.00

Join Nora and Sophie on Saturday, April 18th from 7pm-9pm for an intimate screening of “The Flowerkeeper”

Enjoy a beautiful spring evening on the farm surrounded by flowers and an uplifting community of likeminded people! We’ll start with drinks and light bites, then gather to watch the film and have a talkback, and end the evening with more mingling and celebration.

The Flowerkeeper is a short documentary about one woman’s journey to grow beauty, resilience, and connection - one bloom at a time.

After a tumultuous decade of searching for purpose, Sophie, a Floridian flower farmer, has found it in growing blooms sustainably and sharing them with her community. As she navigates the challenges of her fourth growing season, she must stay resilient in the face of uncertainty, proving that her dedication can create a place where even the most fragile things thrive.

This documentary isn’t just about flowers. It’s about determination, authenticity, and our relationship to the land (and one another). It’s a story of choosing a life rooted in meaning over convenience, and a reminder that small-scale, mindful living has deep power in the face of climate anxiety and overdevelopment.

Filmed in rural Myakka, Florida, it captures the poetry of seasons, the labor of sustainable farming, and the quiet, revolutionary act of believing in beauty, again and again.
